Letter from the Secretary-General
 

Dear Delegates, Advisors and Esteemed Guests,

On behalf of the Secretariat team, it is my utmost honor to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you to TISPCMUNC 2026. This conference was carefully designed to provide a platform for leaders of tomorrow to find their passion through debate, exchange different perspectives and understand the evolving future of tomorrow and the hushed whispers of the past.

 

Over the course of these three short impactful days, you will be pushed beyond your comfort zones, you will have to think critically, speak with conviction and negotiate with diplomacy and respect. Model United Nations is not merely about resolutions or formal debate; it is about building empathy, fostering global awareness and learning how to work with others despite many many differences. It is in these rooms that ideas are challenged, alliances are formed and growth can truly begin.

As you step into your respective committees, I encourage each and everyone of you to participate wholeheartedly. Stand firm on your ideas, be open in discussions and try to be the most respectful in disagreements. Whether you are a first time delegate or a seasoned diplomat, this conference is an opportunity for all of you to learn, lead and leave a lasting impact.
I would also like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to those who have made this conference possible. To our dedicated Secretariat Team and Board of Dais, your tireless effort, commitment and passion have brought this vision to life. To our teacher advisors and senior advisor, thank you for your unwavering guidance, support, and belief in us throughout this journey. Your contributions have been invaluable.
